I think its ok...i dont like the loss, but what can we do .
To be honest...yeh the game was ugly, you can blame the refs or w/e but the Nets were playing harder than us today...
at least we saw that the Celtics really arent really out of gas...5 minutes left in the 4th down 18, we came back ferociously to only 6 pts down...this shows the celtics have the power to do anything just lack of effort in the beginning.
Danny Ainge even said it himself...lack of effort for the starters...the bench isnt really doing bad...its the starters who are being lazy...come playoff time i can see a different celtics that i am seeing now...im keeping my faith...
I agree with you. These guys have a huge lack of effort and focus at the moment, and its hurting them. Sure they can turn it on and make a good run like they did today, but they did it too late and it cost us the game. If we're struggling on the offensive end, then we need to tighten up the defense. If we don't score, we shouldn't allow the opponent to score either.
Sheed is really bugging me. I don't want to single him out, but it angers me to see him not taking advantage of his size. Pau and Bynum are similar in size to him, but how many times do we see them near the 3 pt line? Sheed dominates in the paint, and if he doesn't get a chance to shoot then he should use his size to get offensive rebounds for us.
And lastly like DA and Perkz said.....some of the guys are just bored and waiting for the playoffs to start. Well if that is the case then bench the guys who don't want to play and let the others play.
If your not going to put an honest effort (regardless of which team your facing) then you shouldn't be on the court.
