They deserve to be booed off the court for their lack of effort down the stretch.  Contrast this to the way they went after the Lakers.  Just terrible.

No they don't. This isn't a lack of effort, this is Doc not being able to put on his own pants again. He can't handle Sheed, he can't handle Davis, and he can't handle a rotation.

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
No ball movement...  Terrible decision making.

Well, it was a nice effort for about 2/3 of the game.  The second half has been a disappointment, but overall, you can't really expect the Celts to beat the Cavs without Pierce.

wow, get me on the floor. The celtics are asleep - I'd wake them the hell up. Scream in their faces.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Hey Jadams, where the bleep are you now?

 ;D
oh, that gets a TP sir.

Right here --- didn't want to ruin the false optimism that you had.  Where are you now that the C's have been outscored by 22 in the second half and collapsed yet again?

We waited too long to sub that unit out.
Yep, fully agree.

That and not getting Rondo a short rest were very hurtful.

this is ALL on Doc Rivers....Why did we even trade for Robinson?....how many minutes in the 2nd half?....WORN out Ray and Rondo........the ENTIRE season long----Why do we quit attacking?....maybe Rondo is pacing himself....this is a 26 point turnaround?.....trying NOT to throw something at my 60" plasma.

So they give Varejao the tech and not Perk, because Var pushed Perk and Perk didn't respond knowing if he did he would also have gotten a tech, possibly a fine and short suspension.

In a perfect world two techs should go to Perk and his coach says "If you're just gonna let guys push you and not do anything about it I think I can find a girl at UConn who could do your job."

Modern sports.....I just don't get it sometimes...so different from real life

There's 0 reason to play Rondo with Nate the way he was anyways. They were having Nate run the point. So what? So Rondo can shoot the 3?

I've never even considered blaming Doc...until now. The third quarter and early 4th quarter disaster we're a result of just retarded rotation management.

when the refs allow one team to be so aggressive it really gets them going on offense. that's exactly what happened during that several minute stretch in the 3rd when cavs were not called for any fouls. you'd think the home team would at least get some calls and not the road team. but the cavs are different.
