Scal is a vet minimum talent being paid much more than that. That's been the biggest criticism of the Scal acquisition. Is that his fault? No. Danny gave him that money. Has the Scal signing kept the C's from making other major moves? No, but that doesn't make the signing any less hanus.
My favorite Scal intangible is that in 9.2 minutes per game he averages .8 rebounds. Way to get up there, big fella.

Fred Roberts was a lousy basketball player...but he contributed more than Scal ever has. And that's not a compliment... I don't know what some of you see in this clown...
