I just watched some of his youtube stuff, pretty impressive I must say.  He's got a nice outside touch, finishes hard and plays good d.  I'm kind of psyched we got him because he may end up being what we hoped Billy or JR could have been.

He definitely plays with more poise and has a better shot than either of our ex youngins did, and I hear that he's a good character guy.  Plus he already has chemistry with Nate so he may get some run with the second unit if he can show that his defense and long ball are consistent.

I like him.  Glad we have a new project player, I kind of miss Billy and wish that JR could have done something with his career.

It comes down to this: it is either *really* good news for the Celtics or for the Celtics' oppponents if Landry is on the floor.

The former if it is a blowout in the Cs favor, the latter if it is a blowout in the Cs opponent's favor...
Celtics fan for life.

There is a 3rd way, but it needs not mentioning since it has happened too much this season.

Interesting timing since the news stories today are about Pierce possibly taking a week off to heal up.  A three that plays defense--isn't that about all Pierce has been able to provide for the past few games?  Weak opponent, injured three (and the only legitimate one), new swing with size--seems like a perfect opportunity to see what they got although too bad he's had zero chance to practice with the team.

Landry will be lucky to get off the inactive list.

Funny OP!

On a serious note. Some coaches bury good players and D'Antoni has an infamous doghouse and job security (for now). You really never know. This kid was pretty good in college. I have no idea if he has a pro game or not but it would be interesting at least if he was forced into action to see what he could do.

we've got roster spots open, why haven't we re-signed Gerald Green and Orien Greene yet?

Love the humor ;D

A few thoughts bubbled to the surface after my initial chuckle:

Is Landry better than Giddens and or Walker?

Does it really matter?

Will he be invited to camp next year?

Will we even remember his name in two years?
