Without question, the most impressive end-to-end game this team has played this season -- and they got little from the captain and were shorthanded in the backcourt. One thing I gotta say though -- even though he has played extremely well tonight -- Glen Davis remains the king of consuming Wilson burgers!

I'm pretty jonesed for Sunday and Denver.  Yeah, the C's have exceeded expectations for this trip already, but I'm feeling greedy.  Like #18 greedy.

They need to play like this AT HOME. ;)

Nice to see the starters benched happily at the end of the game for once.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
I will say I like Marcus Camby.  Class act.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

Yeah I agree with Sheed's three pointers...seems as if he's missed the vast majority of them this season.

He is a threat from there, though.

I'm not sure how to act now. What is this concept of garbage time?

It;s Scal hitting a 3 time!! That's what time it is!!!

Wow - a HUGE lead on the road against a quality team...have Our Boston Celtics turned the corner?
Defensively it really looks like it.  Perk has awakened from his slumber and has been outstanding the past 2 games. KG has his swagger back and they look like they're playing with passion for the first time in a long time.

Tony is all energy. 100% at all times. I don't see why people don't like him.

Because he's the model of inconsistency.

Big Baby might not be shown too much on ESPN tonight but he really saved this game from being another possible collapse.  His two charges drawn took a possible 6 points off the board when the Blazers were making a real run.  That's the Big Baby we remember from last years playoffs.

And with Nate Robinson coming in to handle the backup PG duties the team could be starting to round into playoff form.

It's only one game but the end result is of little importance.  IT's the energy and intensity level for 48 minutes that tells the real story.

He's had an extremely tough career injury wise. His minutes have been inconsistent and thus his stats have also been inconsistent. He gives you 100%. Why complain about that?

Perk has been huge for us. Brings a smile to my face seeing him look like a stopper. Davis was filling the lane expertly, too.

I don't know about KG. He was hitting the shot tonight, but against LA he just looked so sloppy. Missing on rebounds, awful jumpers...If he can still IMPROVE, that would be big. If not, well, you can't do much about it.

What really scares me is Tony Allen. Watching him at the end, you know, he can turn it on any day of the week, but he can also single handedly kill the second unit. I hope having Nate and Quis in the back will keep the ball out of his hands except on those cuts, which is where he tends to be a legitimate threat.

Good game again. Nice to have some of these. Go Celtics!

Good game overall....but remember this is 2 games in a row against teams whose best player is injured and hurt.
