Sure hope this doesn't conflict with the chemistry. Im sure KG will fall in love with this guys enthusiasm. My main concern in Rondo.

Not about Nate. More about losing House. We'll see once the games come around.

misleading title.  to me, it just sounded like they didnt want eddie to go, rather than having an issue with nate.  they seemed to think the roster was ok the way it was.  they all had something positive to say about nate, his game/potential.

I think he'll bring some enthusiasm and hunger that's been missing from our team for the past month or so. I think it'll infect our team.

I kinda of got the Vibe that they didn't like this trade as well. Hopefully that will change and not present a problem! I really want Nate to prove something to everyone in here.

They wouldn't have liked any trade involving Ray either, yet many here were clamoring for it. This is a non-issue at the moment.

The most interesting piece I took from this article is that everyone mentioned Nate's defense. Ray called him a "great" on ball defender.

Not surprised about the rest. Eddie was very well liked by everyone. He was just an awesome person on and off the court so of course he will be missed.

They miss Eddie.  Nothing that a couple of good games can't fix.

Nate has never been much of a locker room guy, but this seems to have more to do with Eddie, as others have said.

Hopefully, though, the team is more welcoming to Nate than they were in those sound bites.  I'm sure they will be.

Complete agree with you on this regard. They might be bitter about House getting moved, but they surely need to make all effort to be welcoming to Nate... he seems very enthusiastic in coming over and it would be a shame to stomp on that enthusiasm instead of feeding off it.

Interesting that Doc says he just wants him scoring, not being the distributor/playmaker.  Wonder if they're still looking to Marquis for that, but now from a point forward position?

I honestly think this is one time you can inject a little 'attitude' into the mix without worrying about messing up team chemistry.  Team chemistry gave us what we've seen for the past month -- lots of complacency and certain players not working hard enough.

Eddie was great here, but I think the time was right to make a move.  Hopefully it works, but I think it will.

I keep reading about how Nate will bring 'fire, passion, excitement'. Come one guys, Nate can ball! The guy is a good player and it seems to be lost at this point on the fact that he can be a bit of a knucklehead. So what, let the guys game here speak for itself.

Yeah, to be honest, players (especially the Boston vets, it seems), seem to be the last ones to realize they need some help in winning games. I'm sure they all like eddie as a person and are sad to see him go.
