Weird report. Does this mean that it is part of the McGrady deal?

Bummer.  Wish we could have gotten in on that action.  Martin would have been an excellent Ray replacement going forward.

I wonder what else Houston is giving up to make that deal happen.

It better be a lot more valuable than anything the Celtics could have offered up. Otherwise, I'll be very disappointed.

Carl Landry is an excellent incentive.

Understandable why Sacramento choose Houston's offer over Boston's.

Indeed.  Landry's a very nice player.  Still a nice trade for Houston; you don't want Aaron Brooks as your go-to perimeter scorer.

Bet it's the Knicks he ends up with, and Sac gets a little more out of it.

Absolutely, Morey might build a title worthy squad yet ... with Yao Ming as it's centerpiece.

Yao + Scola + Martin + Ariza + Battier + Brooks

Very interesting top six players. I think they still need another impact player to become a legitimate contender. More of a very good team, a team that wins 55 games but loses in the second round, than a frontrunner.

They lost some depth with Landry + Dorsey too.

Chuck Hayes. Kyle Lowry is a free agent and likely looking for $4-5 million a year. Chase Budinger. Jermaine Taylor. David Andersen.

Actually, I'm wrong, the Rockets still have a lot of depth if they resign Lowry. Add a good first big off the bench and their bench will be excellent all over again.

you don't want Aaron Brooks as your go-to perimeter scorer.
Goodness gracious no.

Via Mark Stein's Twitter:

Although full trade details not yet known, one league source told ESPN.com that T-Mac will end up with Kings or Knicks by time deadline hits

Since we've been talking to NY, you think there is any way we can get in on this deal?
