Boston Trades:

Glen Davis
Bill Walker
JR Giddens

Portland Trades:

Steve Blake
2nd Round pick

Why for us: Steve Blake is just the defensive minded PG we need. He's a good facilitator on offense and a solid defender against other PG's and smaller SG's. He's just the type of guard that can play alongside Eddie House

Why for them: Portland still needs big angry bodies, and Glen Davis strikes me as just the type of hyper emotional player that would play better if traded. He strikes me a guy that almost needs to be given up on before he shows you what he can do. JR Giddens and Bill Walker would probably be cut, but it's not like they were rocking minutes here either. Also, Portland at some point will need to address their pg situation. They've got 3 capable starting PG's (once Bayless comes fully into his own, next year probably), and only one spot. Brandon Roy feels comfortable with Blake, but at some point they're going to need to cut the cord there. I picture Steve Blake almost as a "Hinrich Lite"

I'd do it, definitely.  I like Blake a lot.

It would be nice to get a big back in the deal though if we don't make another trade.  Maybe Pendergraph.

My first thought as well, but the cap makes it hard. I'm not good at the trade machine.

Man. They've been reading Celticsblog.

Great trade for the clips. Camby wasn't going to stick around next year

I wish they'd gotten more value for Outlaw, but see a need fill a need I guess. When you have a bounty of assets it makes sense to use them if you have to. Outlaw was their "rainy day fund"

We can still get Glen Davis for ......... ummmmm I dunno from Portland. Portland will never take GD given his L'Enfant Terrible.

I was looking at Perkins, TA, and Scal for Blake, Outlaw, and Juwan Howard.
