Ray will get bought out and return to the C's after the waiting period. ;)

Nice work, but why does Washington take on an additional $8 million in salary? They want to cut payroll, not add it.

Frustrated Basketball Engineer says that you got too much time on your hands to concoct that beauty. Put it down on your resume and some desperate owner or Chris Wallace might call you up for an interview.

that's exactly why this would never happen

They want to cut future payroll. Now, instead of paying Jamison and Caron $30 Million over the next two years, they only have to pay $8 million this year. It's not even that much, as half of the worth of the contracts would have been payed already, as half the games are done, (providing there are no special arrangements regarding pay for the players). And to cover the $4 million, any of the teams can give Washington cash considerations, and voila!, Washington doesn't have to spend an extra 8$ million.

TP to you Rtpas11. A great trade, in which every team gets everything they wanted. I think it pushes us back to #1 to win it all.

I think it is the best trade proposal I've seen on CelticsBlog.

Well I figured if Ray gets bought out and returned, and undersized Nate Robinson signs here where does that leave Eddie House ??? Also Danny doesn't want the heavy Jamison contract, because he's too old (which makes this trade difficult now) too bad on ESPN Trade Machine there is a limit to how many teams can pull off a trade together. ::)

You guys try to do a little move around with these teams, and see what works the best besides this one. Post it! ;)

Ouch, if that is all the C's get for Ray and Davis, I will be very disappointed.

And let's remember with this trade, the C's would not have bird rights on Robinson, or Ray (if they resign him), so this does not put them in much of a better position next year.
