Boston Sends: Ray Allen, Sheed, Big Baby
Boston Gets: G'Wallace, Nazr Mohammed, Derrick Brown, and Desganga Diop

Charlotte Sends:G'Wallace, Nazr Mohammed, Derrick Brown, and Desganga Diop
Charlotte Gets: Ray Allen, Sheed, Big Baby

We get an able Ray replacement in G'Wallace, and Wallace can run+shutdown premier SG's such as Kobe, Wade, Vince Carter, and Brandon Roy. We'll miss Sheed, but Nazr can score+rebound at higher rates and will replace him nicely. Now Glen will be a loss, but Derrick Brown reminds me of a young Leon Powe. Diop sucks, we just take him on so Charlotte can save $$$. Check out our lineup with minutes:

Rondo (32)/ Quis(12)/House (4)
G'Wallace(32)/TA(16)
Paul (28)/ Quis(15)/TA(5)
KG (25)/ Nazr (15)/Brown(4)/Williams (4)
Perk (25)/Nazr (10)/Diop (5)/Vet Min. (8

Care to explain why Charlotte, one of the younger, up and coming teams in the league would have any interest in this deal?

Don't like it at all. We lose a ton of outside shooting (Crash is pretty similar to TA in terms of shooting) and Nazr as our first big off the bench is a scary thought.

I agree with the shooting but Mohammed is having a great year and I wouldnt mind him being our first big off the bench at all.

This seems like an idea of buying high, without having the high amount to afford it.

Don't like the idea.

I don't want Wallace.  He is having a career year, but I doubt how he will do in the halfcourt offense of the playoffs.  Not to mention I think he is one blow to the head from being forced to retire.

I don't see Charlotte doing this.

They're making a run at their first-ever playoff appearance and I don't think a dramatic makeover is something they'd look to do at this time.

Don't really like Nazr. Last time I saw him, he and KG had to be separated. He's having a decent yr., but he's still Nazr Mohammed and will be getting 7M next year at the age of 34.

Wallace also scares me because of how physical he plays (The Crash nickname fits). I could definitely see him start to breakdown in the next couple of seasons.
