C's winning the battle of the boards

C's shooting 80% at the FT line

C's holding the Kings to 37% shooting, though Kings are helping

C's increased the lead two quarters in a row

C's scored 19 points in the 3rd quarter played mostly by the starters

C's have missed at least 10 layups/fast break chances

C's are playing against one of the leagues worst teams and the starters are not beating the Kings starters

Yet, who's winning?

the Thunder aren't "better" than the C's.  the C's are just a lot closer to being an average team than they were last year.  and the Thunder have managed to elevate themselves to the level of above average after being mediocre last year.

the Thunder are gonna be scary in a year or two, especially if they get a lottery pick again this year

Since when do the Celtics do well when they "should be up big"?  Not this year.

You would think it was the Kings by the sound of things around here.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
Pretty clear that you guys aren't watching OKC lately.  They're a good team.  Durant is as scary a scorer as has come along in a LONG time.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

Paul Pierce is 3 for 11
Rondo is 1 for 6
KG is laboring upcourt

Glad to see Pierce and KG didn't need the rest and instead went to the All star game
