Quote
Former NBA veteran and NBA TV analyst Dennis Scott has heard that Warriors guard Anthony Morrow could be dealt"I've heard teams talking about, 'How can we make a move to go get him?' " said Scott"He would be perfect for a playoff team that has a player who gets double-teamed. RealGM Note: Morrow, who is averaging 12.3 points on 49% shooting from the field, missed 10 games recently with a knee injury

If it is true Morrow could be had Danny should be all over this. He is one of the best young(under 25) shooter in the league. I am sure GSW would like to move one of their big contracts

Bos sends : Ray + 1st or Ta
GSW sends: Maggette + Morrow + filler

Or

Bos send: Ray, Walker ,1st rd pick+ BBD
GSW Sends: Maggette, Morrow+ Randolph

The 2nd trade is probably a pipe dream, but I think the 1st trade would be pretty fair.

Do you know about the RealGM trade checker?  Before suggesting trades here, you might want to plug them into the checker to see if they work.

I know how trades works that's why I said Maggette,Morrow + filler( meaning contracts that make the trade work)

This article doesn't suggest that Morrow is on the trading block, it just reveals that a lot of teams are interested in Morrow, but it doesn't mean the Warriors want to or will trade him so you can't say he is on the trading block.

Plus, it makes no sense to trade Ray to get two bench players.

Wow , I didn't realize just how good of a shooter Moorow is

2008-09  48% Fg's + 47% 3pt
2009-10 = 49% FG'S + 45% 3pt( taking 4 a game)

Go get him Danny!!!!!!!!!

How about Allen and J.R. for Morrow, Biedrens, and Radmanovic?

http://www.realgm.com/src_tradechecker/3/

This is realistic in that we would be taking a bad contract from them in Rad-man and a long term deal in Biedrens.  It would help them cap wise and Rad. can at least be a threat from three and provide some length on defense at the SF spot.

We do this trade to get Biedrens primarily and Morrow.

The celtics don't have enough roster spots for all of the filler that might be required.  Ray makes 20 million and the Celtics are taking only 10 milion back.  Go find 7-8 million dollars of filler on Golden State's roster without touching Ellis or Biedrins.

How about this?

Ray and J.R. and a one or two first rounders for Maggette, Biedrens, and Morrow?

Highly unlikely that the Warriors would consider this and also highly unlikely that our owners would agree to taking on those two huge long-term salaries.

Brickowski,

I just proposed two trades that work.  Thoughts?

I just checked on espn trade machine.

Ray for Maggette,Morrow and Vlad works

Vlad isn't to bad of a contract because he expires next year.

So what happens to House now that we have Morrow?

Sure, I'd do the deal involving Biedrins, but I want no part of Vlad Rad.  Lazy, selfish player.  He was also kicked off the Serbian National Team for being a jerk.

You could ask for Anthony Randolph and Raja Bell as "filler", but GS wouldn't do that either. And GS doesn't want our first rounders.  Their pick will be so much better, and they don't want to give guaranteed contracts to guys like Giddens. Picks in the 25-30 range are worth less than picks in the 31-35 range.

Who cares what happens to eddie House, Morrow is a much more deadly shooter ( shooting over 45% from 3 in his first 2 seasons). Plus he is like 6'7 so he can get his shot off easier than House.

Vlad isn't going to bring down this team, that 's just worrying to much on your part ;)

Love your trade celtsrp33, but Golden State would probably throw up all over it.

Morrow is an average player on a bad team.  I don't know if he'd crack the rotation here.  I don't think anything where we give ray and don't get Ellis back is a no go.
