Another rumored location for Hamilton is Boston, where Ray Allen has an expiring contract.

Don't think there is much smoke to this rumor, the reporter does refer to the Rockets as the Rockies lol, but just thought I'd share

Wouldn't do it just for rip, he's not that much younger.

Don't want to do it for rip and Prince either, but at least that would add a good bench player, if we have to trade ray.

Agreed. I don't buy it. The Cs and Pistons are not trade partners and ownership would never sign up for Hamilton.

Danny had talks with Washington about Butler and Jamison, I could definitely see Ray to detroit for Rip and Prince if Detroit would do it . They would be cheaper than Jamison and Butler .

I don't think its really a rumor.  Just speculation.  Ray Allen is an expiring so names are going to be thrown out ther.

Hamilton has a lousy contract and is a demonstrably inferior SG to Ray ... Prince is a good buy low opportunity - but Ray is not buying low ... you can get him for the non-Ray expirings ... Prince would be interesting

agreed...i'm not liking any of these rumors that i'm reading.  it appears the smart move for danny would be to just stay put and scour the waver wire.  but picking up hamilton is a stupid move - nothing more than rearranging the rocking chairs at the retirement home...

NONE of these rumors do anything to give me hope boston can be an actual contender. none allow them to get out of the stink they are in.

i am afraid we are going to ride or die with the big 3 in the second half. i think the bench remains the same and I  dont expect much out of them really. maybe winning the atlantic. the trip out west will tell us all we need to know about if this team really can come together and maybe finish. sadly, i think it will be more of the same.....guys always hurt and gimpy....running out of energy in the third quarter and more frustration
