I've enjoyed this season. There have been a lot of frustrating games ... but it's been a great journey and I still very good about the team's chances of contending for a title.

As a season ticket holder, I wet to games not even looking at the scoreboard, but to watch Al and Gerald and TA develop.  Those three were so amazing to watch, and Al being my favorite player in the league was evolving into a new McHale.

This year has been brutal as of late as it is abundantly clear that we have the roster to win a title as is, there is just serious health and chemistry issues right now.  If anyone was wondering if we should trade Ray, last night might hint that its not a good idea.  There is nothing more frustrating than knowing what you can and should be doing, but falling short.  Still this team can certainly be ready come May.

the 18 game losing team streak.  it was so bleak with no real hope in sight.  not to mention it felt like pierce was going to leave.

with this year's team, although it is frustration, there is comfort in knowing we have big names that could land us talent in a trade and a lot of salary cap room each year for the next 3 yrs.  we are in a good position to rebuild if we so choose.

i would gladly go thru this season's frustration after the magical season we got to experience with banner 17!

first off i don't think this is the end of our run.
however i think this slump hurts more. we have so much more proven talent. we souldn't be loosing like this. and the end of the line is in view so there's so much more urgency.

back in '06 you could almost wallow in the trials of a group of youngn's making there way. a long nba career stood in front of many of those kids.

we took a huge leap to a become a team of vets just slightly past their prime. they have had great nba careers but most of their games are in the rear view mirror.

This hurts more in that there is a reason to watch games ... then hurt more because we were jokes.

I'd prefer the former.  I don't think we are specifically underachieving - it's the risk of dealing with a lot of old players.  But the losses are hard.

the 18 gamer was hell. i remember losing to the twolves on a ricky davis jumper at the buzzer. i turned it off, went to espn news and it was on the bottom line, like 5 seconds after the game ended. but i knew (or hoped) that durant or oden would be at the end of the misery.

this is worse. we have old players, no or little cap flexibility, and the fear of watching kg and sheed grab a total of 6 rebounds a game for the next 2+ years.

we sold out for a title. it worked. it could be worse. but it is frustrating.
