TP.  I absolutely love this.  I've been thinking Ray would be great for SA anyway.  Great deal.  Hill is a nice prospect too.

I don't think this makes sense for the Spurs.  They give up way too much for a rental of Ray.

The Spurs would do that deal if the C's included Pierce instead of Ray.

I don't think S.A. gives up all that unless they get Pierce.

Well they aren't happy with Jefferson.  They wanted Sheed before the year.  They'd have a ton of cap space next year with Ray and Ginobilli coming off the books.  And they would have a nice roster this year.

  • Rondo = Good
Two aging once-contenders that need some kind of change to put them over the top trade with each other and accomplish...what exactly?

The way Jefferson is playing, why would the Celtics put that contractual noose around their necks?

Well the $15,000 that Jefferson is owed next year is pretty equal to what Sheed will make next year and the year after.  Plus Jefferson's contract will be an asset next year.

Hill has the best future.  McDyess would be awesome for us right now.

Like Ray's an asset this season?
