That ship has sailed...or I should say sunk.  This team is starting to look like the Bruins.  They just have lost any semblance of a competitive edge.

I'm so sick of hearing "this game is a wake up call for these guys."

The Clippers game after Christmas should have been a wakeup call.  The collapse against the Mavericks should have been the wakeup call.  The second, third, and fourth losses to the Hawks should have been wakeup calls.  This is ridiculous.  The alarm clock has been going off for two months now and nobody is bothering to get out of bed.  This team is just asleep.

I don't know whose fault it is or what we can do about it, but this isn't about age, it's not about injuries, it's not about gameplans, it's not about a lack of talent.  Even with all of those issues, we shouldn't be this bad.  This team is just not playing to win right now.

the are done. 11 blown double digit leads for losses. it is going to be this way for the duration, and they will go 0-4 out west. they are a divided team and they dont care anymore

I don't care who it is, but someone needs to shake this team up.

Maybe Ainge needs to make a big trade.

Maybe Doc needs to make a big lineup change.

Maybe Ainge needs to change the coach.

It is clear that losing doesn't seem to bother them right now.

Not Really. The Big3 are falling apart. Age and injuries caught with their bodies. The Big3 NO MORE!! Its Rondo or bust from now on. You can't rely on them anymore. We need a jolt of Youth and skilled scoreres.

I won't convince you otherwise, I'll just say i think it's less giving up and more being to old and banged up to hang with teams that want to knock you off for 48 minutes anymore.

Age and injury caught up with ray and KG in a hurry, and it's not doing paul any favors either.

This team needs a jolt of energy ...

Even a small winning streak would do them wonders.

Have you watched this game?  Rondo (and Perk) are playing like they left for vacation 2 days ago.  The only guys who are actually trying right now are Daniels, Davis, Tony Allen, and (shockingly), Sheed.

PP, KG and Ray are old and it has hit them this season. they look it and they know it by the way they are playing. they are a wounded animal going off to die alone in the woods...not putting up any fight whatsoever. build for the future. we are not not winning the east this season. go build for next season

Not sure this team thinks it can win the title.

It looks like they believe it's slipping away from them.

To me it seems like they gave up on winning a championship after KG went out with his injury.

You know how you can love somebody, but not really like them?  Like a dysfunctional aunt or something?  That's how I feel about this team right now.  No matter how much I hope they're going to get it together, that this time is going to be the last time, they keep disappointing me.  I can't help but love them, but I can't stand to be around them.

KG's deterioration is as contagious as his energy.  If Rondo could step up and take leadership and take control of the team energy, we might be able to salvage this season.  Either that or trade Ray for some fiesty younger players with chips on their shoulders.

Coaching change.

Unless the new coach comes with a time machine to take 2-3 years of wear and tear off the big three, it won't matter.
