Off the bat, I want to say I'm not sure Chicago would like either of these. Still if they did, we win banner 18 barring injuries. Next I'd like to take care of any issues:
1. Luol Can't guard SG's? We move Pierce to 2. Simple, but if Pierce starts drama, just assign Deng to the 2, and  look at (statistically) a top 10 player in the NBA named Kevin Durant. I'm condfident  Deng will be able to defend Vince Carter, Ben Gordon, Andre  Iggy, and all the other SG's in the East just as good if not BETTER than Ray Ray.
2.Cap Space- It ain't you're money. Stop complaining, if Wyc and the rest of the team's down with it, kindly shut up. That is all.

Now let's look at our improvement

Bos Sends: Ray + Daniels
Chi Sends: Deng + Hinrich

We replace a 15-4-3 player with a 18-8-2 (Points,Rebounds, Assists) with Ray and Deng. Our rebounding problems don't dissapear, but are pushed to the side. Hinrich let's Rondo rest 15 minutes a night, and let TA play behind Pierce to let Pierce rest.

Bos sends: Ray, Daniels, BBD + 1st(if needed)
Chi Sends: Deng, Hinrich + Thomas

Same as above, except we get rid of a village idiot in BBD. Look I remeber the 15 points and 4 boards Big Baby gave us, but right know, he sits his fat self on the bench, giving us 6 points and 4 rebounds when he's not busy punching his buddies. Every night, Thomas will Block a shot, and steal the ball once, and can help eliminate our rebounding problem. Did I mention we won't have to worry about Rasheed bombing 3's, we can just toss it to Thomas down low or Hinrich outside. YAY BANNER 18!

How about this?

PP to Chi for Deng and Heinrich
Ray and Scal/TA to Phi for Iggy and Dalembert

Perk,KG,Deng,Iggy and Rondo---starters
Sheed,BBD,Daniels,House,Heinrich,Dalembert, and either TA or Scal---bench

Big bucks for Wyc, but--what a defensive unit!! Fast, long, athletic--?able shooting--but ????????????????????

I don't see that happening -- too pie in the sky optimistic but that would be one hell of a young nucleus -- Perk, Deng, Iggy and Rondo.  It would be financial hell for Wyc for years but that's a very nice core.

We are not going to win another title without a dominant big man.  All the scenarios that get us 1's, 2's, and 3's are fine but are not going to get us a championship.  If KG is what he is now, then we either need a better 4 or 5.
