Ray Allen
Ty Thomas

Why for the C's- They get the man they want in Martin to replace Ray for the future
Why for the Bulls- they get expiring contracts and shed Salmons contract to make a splash next summer
Why for the Kings-
They get the young Athletic big man they are look for as well as Rays contract

They have two goals:

1) Get rid of Hinrich and / or Salmons to create 2010 cap space -- they're going to fail at it, no one wants them;

2) To get something for Ty Thomas now because they have no intention of making him a qualifying offer this summer and will lose him for nothing ala Ben Gordon.

I'd say Ray Allen is a pretty nice fetch on #2.

When the Kings say they want a big man my guess is they want a big man that is not entering free agency they most likely will want control and cost certainty
