Ray is not the reason we are not winning. Do you think the players on the team know who is playing good ball and who isnt?
I do and I believe if management goes ahead and trades Ray that it will have a very bad effect on the psyche of this team.

No, Ray is one part of a team that is note performing the way they need to.

Ray, unlike KG, Pierce or even Doc, is an actual valuable trade piece that disappear as a trade piece in a couple weeks.

Ray is the best way to turn around the team this year.

You cant get better trading him therefore you should do nothing.

If that is the case, yes.

If you can upgrade him to Martin or AI2, you pull the trigger.

How do you know you can't get better by trading him? do you have inside info on the trades being offered DA?

If it were true, and it may very well end up being true, that you can't get anything to improve the team then of course you keep ray.

But if an offer comes along, and it might, that makes this team better, then you have to trade ray.

I don't want to trade ray, but much like WDL, I want whats best for the team. If that ends up being ray moving on, I'll be bummed about it, but understand.

No, I only have the same information about trades offered to Danny as everyone else. All that i am saying is that the idea that any of these will make the Celtics better as a team is wrong.

Ray for Kmart
Ray for Ellis
Ray for Heinrich and Thomas

I agree with you on two of the three.

Who else wants to keep Ray?

I want this team to start playing like it wants to win games...I want them to play the entire second half of every game.

If that means trading Ray...well then so be it. I'd take the ends, regardless of the means.

The third is certainly true.

The first two would be about the future of the Celtics not the present. and i think you can make a strong argument that either of those young players, signed to extensions, would be much more helpful to the future of this franchise alongside rondo and perk than ray allen.

assuming you are talking kevin martin, not kenyon martin.

If your "kmart" is kenyon, then only the ellis trade makes sense out of those three.

Probably agree, but there's always the unlikely AI deal...
