The more I read about the Bulls, the more it sounds like a) they're prepared to cut their loses on Ty Thomas, and b) there is no market for Hinrich or Salmons.

So I've adjusted previous 3-team trades accordingly, and I think this deal could actually be feasible. This is the only scenario in which I can imagine landing Martin BECAUSE we take a rhetorical, bad contract off of Sacramento's books — they have way too many swing players, and two with awful deals — and get them a decent asset in Thomas.

If the Bulls finally figure out how poor the market is for Thomas and Hinrich, they’ll decide to ship Thomas out on his own. What better asset are they going to get than Ray Allen? Best case right now they get a late first from the Spurs or Nuggets — I’d rather have Allen the rest of the year, and his Bird Rights this summer.

I like it,  but we may have to throw in picks or a filler for Chicago. Still, we get a Ray replacement with 20 points instantly, and a backup for Pierce. Everybody gets rest, and we get rebounding of the bench in Nocioni. Just not sure Chicago would say yes, maybe if we throw in a pick as do the Kings.

I'd actually be more concerned about SAC agreeing.
