T-Mac would love to be a 76er

There you go. I am in no way great with trades or the trade machine.

But could a Ray Allen to Houston, T-Mac to Philly, and AI2 to Boston deal be possible? With pieces included in the trade to match salaries and possibly a 4th team included to make things work.

The trade however makes perfect sense to me. The rockets recieve a player who can play now for them, plus the expiring contract same as T-Mac. The 76ers get an expiring deal of 22 million, cap space, and now they can rebuild. Boston recieves a star player to shake up the team and get number 18.

Also, if AI2 comes to the team, i hope he plays sf, giving Pierce relief on the defensive end and it also creates more shots for Pierce who is shooting at career highs

Houston only does a trade of T-Mac in order to get proven talent now instead of waiting for the uncertainty of the summer free agent bonanza.  They don't get any in this trade.  Philly also wants a team to take on Brand or Dalembert's contract, or else give them some young talent in return for Iggy.

I don't think they would, but I'll play Devil's advocate to give myself false hope.

The Rockets get very low efficiency scoring from their wings.  Ariza, Battier and Budinger are shooting at or below 40%.  This dramatically reduces the effectiveness of Aaron Brooks, the classic drive and kick PG, and shifts much of the playmaking role on Trevor Ariza, who's much better suited to playing off the ball.  Adding Ray would significantly enhance Brooks and Ariza's games.

That might be preferable to adding another non-shooting wing.

Ray would certainly give Houston a lot more than TMac is.
