I thought the bulls wanted cap space to build around Deng? Bulls say no. If we do a multi-team trade involving these teams, I want AI and Dalembert without including Perk. Take BBD or Rasheed, but not Perk.

This second one you are hog-tying the C's future flexibility. Both Martin and Brand are on the books for another 4 yrs, Martin has only played a bit over 300 games over six years due to injury... and Brand is never going to be the player he was in LA.
no

no

I have a question... then WHO? ???
Pierce said it himself "No one wants to come here to play, the only way we acquire players is through trade or draft). Who was the last big name free agent the Celtics signed? Before the big 3 era no one came here, now that we have the big 3 especially K.G. everyone wants to play here (Eddie, Quis, Posey, Rasheed, and P.J.). The c's did not attract big names before and won't attract big names once K.G. is done. why not acquire good players long-term for the future now. I don't know about you all, but I rather have 4 solid players in trade come over, than wait for salary cap to be freed with hopes of signing a big name whom most likely will not come here if K.G. isn't.

This is the same idea, with a few fewer pieces.  I think with this deal, the Celtics would send the Sixers a first round pick.

Since everyone else is doing it, here is my ideal version of that trade:

"Why not?"

-Gary Tanguay.

nice one! I don't know about Sac though getting Perk for Martin, although Perk is worth it. lol I still won't trade Perk unless we getting, Bynum, Marc Gasol, Bosh, or Howard.
