Doc -- keep Eddie in because he is doing a great job on Collison. ANd I love the offense they are running since Pierce came back in. Hopefully Sheed (who actually has played well tonight) can chuck up a few more threes. Win or lose tonight this team is done. Put a fork in it.

so....we're not good at all.

discuss.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

The Hornets are missing far and away their best player tonight --- how in the world are they winning this game.

Collison is a great backup PG --- how about the C's trade Scal, Eddie and Sheldon for him geez

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Is anybody gonna try to argue that this team isn't in serious trouble right now?

Nope, i don't think that's possable.

The confounding thing is i just don't understand how thier in THIS much trouble.

I mean, it's just such a consistent pattern.

Lights out in the 1st half, get a 12 point lead.
Blow it in the third
Be in a dog fight throughout the 4th, win or lose in the last two minutes.

It doesn't even seem to matter what the skill level of the other team is. MAgic or NO without paul, the formula is the same.

Sounds like we don't have the gas to finish games.

Maybe we didn't take the age factor seriously enough.

Uh oh Pierce is trying to help Sheed rediscover the 3 point line. Back into the paint please.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

I feel like this team is just daring Danny Ainge to make a trade.  It's like they want to prove to him that they can't be a competitive team.

TP. It's like they need a breath of fresh air in the locker room. We all can see it. They're sick of each other. We're sick of watching this crap.

The Celtics are now among the 10-15 best teams in the league. No more than that.

But wouldn't that show up more in the fourth?

It's always the third where they stink it up. The fourth they try to gear it back up and get back into the game.
