Pierce is killing us in the second half, as always now.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Rondo's been terrible at the point today, offensively and defensively.

Indeed. The goal has to change now to recovering from the mortgage we took out on our future as soon as possible.

  • Rondo = Good
The Celtics are now among the 10-15 best teams in the league. No more than that.

Squarely middle of the road.  Which in this league is mediocre at best.  Sad thing is we have way too much talent to be that bad.

This is like the Wizards being a terrible team year after year with Arenas, Butler, and Jamison.  At least they can blame the injuries.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

obvious that this team is not going to do anything in the playoffs nor rest of the season, at this point they are in a battle just for the atlantic with the raptors. time to build for the future folks. no need believing the pipe dream that they are actual contenders

I think the root of the problem tonight has been Pierce.  He's had a terrible game.  No shot, stupid passes, trying to do too much.

Another lazy offensive possession ends up with paul settling for a 15 ft jumper.

Team needs a trade to shake up the bench and to come out like gangbusters after the all star break, or i'll be forced to agree with orlando, they will be one and done.

Thank god Toronto is even worse, so we have an outside shot at holding them off for a fraudulent three seed.

The is surreal... the starters defend well but they can't score or not turn the ball over. Surreal.

To see this team looking like an expansion team - and it does; you can spout all the optimism in the world, but this team is playing atrocious basketball on both ends of the floor - is just mind-boggling.
