Another silly fun trade, which is semi plausible and did not break the trade machine - what if we went outside the box to another team that wanted to shave payroll ... hmmm

C'S GET: Kevin Martin, Grant Hill
KINGS GET: Amare Stoudemire
SUNS GET: Ray Allen, Sergio Rodriguez, Jason Thompson

Celts benefit is obvious, replace Ray Allen, high character unselfish wing player in Hill

Kings get an impact big - either signed for next year - and if not, oodles of cap room

Suns get a PG and big conducive to their style.  They can buy Ray out - but he frankly fits into how they roll as well.  Sure they aren't winning titles, but they weren't before.  And he will have a lot of open looks in a smallball lineup - which is probably their better shot to score an upset in the Western tourney anyway.

If the Suns were willing to give up Amare for Ray Allen... I say we just trade for Amare.  Then use our extra expirings (Scal, Tony, etc) to bring in Hinrich to fill Ray's void.   Or in your scenario... just sign Ray after the Suns buy him out.
