The newest rumor says Danny is actively trying to make a deal with SAC for Kevin Martin. The only hold up is that SAC is looking for an established big man so a third team must be brought in.

With this rumor, here is my trade idea:

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine

Bos: We are essentially trading Ray Allen for Kevin Martin and an expiring contract. I think we all can agree that's a good deal.

SAC: They get a young proven big in Biedrins and a great 6th man (albeit with a bad contract) in Maggette.

GSW: The get a proven vet in Ray who should play very well within their system. Plus he is an expiring so if they have any plans to make a splash in free agency (Amare), this gives them a lot of money to play with. And the best part is that they get rid of Maggette's horrendous contract.

We could also throw in a pick to sweeten the pot for either team if needed.

Thoughts?

Link is for the trade checker, not a trade.

Outside of that, why does GS trade the only C they have?

Sorry I didn't know you had to save it. And for your question about GSW, I added Spencer Hawes in it.

Consider this as well

Boston Gets:
Kevin Martin
Sergio Rodriguez
Nocioni

Phili Gets:
Ray Allen

Kings Get:
Dalembert
Bill Walker
Boston's 1st & 2nd round picks

Ideal trade if Sixers wannts money and Kings big men.
Boston sends Ray&Tony Allen to Sixers and Scal&Giddnes to Kings
Phila sends Igoudala to Celtics and Dalambert to Kings
Sacto sends Martin&Rodriguez to Celtics

I know its a dream, but consider:
Rondo/Rodriguez
Igoudala/Martin
Pierce/Daniels
Garnett/Davis
Perkins/Wallace
No1 Celtics fan in Croatia

I also ran a 3 way trade idea by the trade checker.

I never post trade ideas.

Sacto incoming:
Perkins
Kapono (exp)

Sacto outgoing:
Martin
Hilton

Boston incoming:
Martin
Dalembert

Boston outgoing:
Perkins
R. Allen

Philly incoming:
R. Allen
H. Armstrong

Philly outgoing:
Dalembert
Kapono

The Kings want some young, good talent for Martin and guys on their board said they wanted Perkins. I think Perk is overrated by a lot on this board and Dalembert looks the same, if not better than Perk here. The problem is his salary for next season and the trade kicker. Wyc would probably shut this down, tbh.

Philly gets out from underneath Dalembert's contract and gets a massive expiring back in return. I doubt they'd say no.

1) Trade Allen & Perkins for Iguodala and Dalembert
2) This summer trade Pierce for
- Joe Johnson
- Gay and Randolph
3) Give up BBD and Wallace, resign Daniels

Rondo
Iguodala
Johnson
Garnett
Dalembert

That's three perimeter players who are most effective with the ball in their hands. Not sure if that would work.

Why?

Rondo is one of the best playmaker out there, Johnson can shoot e Iggy goes to the rim... Next season we can try to trade dalembert (last contract's year) if we need. It's just a dream of course...

Johnson can shoot but he uses isolation plays to get off his shot a lot. He is not a "ball mover" to quote JVG. Iggy is the same way. It's not that I wouldn't want either of them, just not at the same time.
