If the "window"is over, you trade Paul for an expiring and an asset. Let Ray expire and then go for it with the FA sweepstakes.
For example, get T-Mac and Ariza for PP, Sheed, and baby this year. This summer, pick up Joe Johnson, use bird rights on Ray Allen, Tony Allen, House, and T-Mac, use the mid-level and draft picks on bigs, and finish it off with vet minimum guys. I know the thought of trading the captain is sickening, but if the gamble pays off you reload fast while remaining fiscally sound.

Rondo, House, vet minimum
JJ, Ray, Tony
Ariza, T-Mac, Walker
KG, pick,
Perk, midlevel (Camby?), pick
“Being a Celtic is, every decision you make is about the team. Every cut you make is about the team. Every pass you make is about the team. You take yourself out of it. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

1) Sit Paul Pierce, let him rest, and start Marquis

2) Trade Ray for young legs (my dream is Iggy but it's unlikely) without givin up our #1 pick

3) Find a young player to back up Garnett (i'd like Anthony Randolph) in the draft (i like this draft)

4) If you have a chance this summer trade Pierce for Gay o Joe Johnson

I think this trade may be one of the best yet...

Bulls get: Ray Allen
Kings get: Tyrus Thomas, J. Pargo, and Kirk Hinrich
Celtics get: Kevin Martin and Nocioni

The Bulls get the expiring contract that they are after while getting rid of Thomas and freeing up Hinrich's money. The Kings get the young forward that they are after and a better guard to fit their system and play along side Tyreke Evans in Hinrich. And lastly, we get Nocioni to come off the bench and Kevin Martin to replace Ray. What do you guys think?
