Hey, a lot of teams wanted Sheed last offseason, he was one of the biggest names, there wasn't really much to choose from.

Yes!
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Somebody else said this, I forget who, but I'll just repeat it:

(regarding the Rasheed trade):

"We rolled the dice, and it came up snake eyes."

He's definitely playing worse than anybody expected. What truly blows though is that he's on the books for 2 more years after this one.

That. Sucks.

Oh, and I just want to say that Danny's signings have truly blown for the last 3 years.

-PJ Brown's contributions were completely overblown. I always felt he was getting more praise than he deserved, and I just checked up on his stats which would seem to corroborate my impression.

-Sam Cassell was guilty of being a chucker. He was taking minutes from Eddie House, who was having a great year, so that sucked.

-Stephon Marbury... do I really need to even comment???

-Sheed has sucked, as I just talked about.

-Marquis has been ok, but he's been injured most of the season so who even knows.

-Mikki Moore: in his own words, "Sometimes in the morning, I wake up and I already have a foul". I'm pretty sure he had more fouls than points.

-Patrick O'Bryant was god awful.

There's a trend here.

Not a bust, i feel like we knew what we were getting into.  We also knew he's declining.  And there's still several things he does really well.

While he continues to play below expectations, he was WAY over-hyped in the off-season.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

you conveniently forget to mention Eddie House and James Posey.....and....

PJ Brown needs to be removed from that list.  You can read through all his stats and give me every reason in the world why hes over blown, but will never take away the fact that without his ability to hit a free throw line jumpshot, we might not have made it through Cleveland.  You cant overblow that.  I also will never forget his dunk in Kobes face in the finals, and lastly this team has been missing a hard nosed big man off the bench whos willing to get his hands dirty by doing stuff like this......

Ok, so Eddie and Posey were legit. That's still a lot of busts mixed in with the good players.

And as far as PJ Brown is concerned, every minute he took away from Leon Powe that season was a waste. Leon was BEASTING the entire season. If Leon had gotten more playing time instead of PJ, then PJ probably never would've had to make that big shot in the first place.

Every time the ball was anywhere NEAR Leon, I just knew he'd rebound it and somehow get an and-1.

PS as much as I hate everyone in the Lakers organization, their GM blows Danny away.

I guess if you think 2 points and one rebound with a lot of lazy defense in 20 minutes is bad, then yes, this is a bust. And it will be worse next year and the year after.

YES. He has changed to whole attitude of the team!!! His laziness seems to have rubbed off, on what should be a second team that comes in and brings energy!! Not a second team that come in led by lazy Sheed hangin out behind the arc!!

Just so you know, the bench did well in the 2nd quarter, considering the Celtics outscored the Magic 27-17 in it. 14 of those points were from the bench. Whatever you want to say about Sheed himself, the rubbing off part doesn't seem apparent at all.  It's the starters in the 3rd that blew a 11 point halftime lead that ruined the Celtics today.

Like I've said before, there's a whole ton of blame to go around. A more accurate statement is that the team as a whole is a bust, not just Rasheed.
