We gambled, hoping that a change of scenery, a "championship caliber" team, and teammates with good character would elevate his play from where it's been the last couple of years.
That gamble failed. Rasheed is clearly not the player we hoped he would be. Oh well.
If it helps any, I don't think it would matter. A better Rasheed isn't going to get us a win in these games when we give up these leads. You can't blame it on him. Our team wins as a team, and loses as a team. They've done a lot of the latter recently.
