Glen Davis has got to improve his shot selection in the paint. That short shot in the middle of a crowd in the paint gets rejected a ridiculous clip. Pass the ball out and restart the offense.

glen davis has been the most packed player in the league since he's been here - shot selection or whatever is just meaningless conversation.

after today they wil be 0-4 against the Hawks and 1-3 against Orlando. This is definitely a championship caliber team. They just need time to get their chemistry back.

I was out in the first half and listening on the radio. Just got home. THis team stinks.

Funny that you always show up in game threads when the Celtics are starting to choke and play poorly, but whatever.

At least the 2nd unit energy is good to see, I wish the starters played with the same intensity and movement in the third. A comeback is still possible technically but I don't see it... we will see.

Well, I'm glad the Celtics' play that quarter made at least a few people happy, as they wear themselves out patting themselves on the back, saying what a terrible team we have.

roy -- sorry, but this team is not championship caliber. Are you happy with the way they are playing?

They played poorly in the third quarter.  However, I'm not going to ever be one of those fans who makes it their sole goal to whine and complain, and seemingly revel in the team's misfortunes.

Certain fans take no pleasure when the team is playing well, but they linger until the team starts to perform poorly, when they come out of the proverbial woodwork.

How anybody can enjoy seeing the Celts play terribly is beyond me, but for a few folks, they're enjoying this.

who is enjoying this choke job? anyone? it is frustrating and disgusting...packing for the draft...nope...but my expectations for this team have certainly been lowered

what is amazing this year is every time a team goes off against the Celtics, we almost always read that it was just because the other team was hitting everything, not because the Celtics defense was terrible.

We have certain fans on here who enjoy baiting and trolling when the team's fortunes take a turn for the worse.  In my mind, there's really no disputing that.  Certain people enjoy reveling in our failures, like pigs in mud.

I don't think they want it enough.  I hate to agree with Jeff Van Gundy, but I agree, I think the Cavs are the only team that's really hungry this year (and it's mainly LeBron).

it shouldnt get to the point of having to make comebacks after blowing huge leads. this team won a title. they should know better. and it hurts more because they cant beat quality opponents anymore

Do you disagree?  When the Magic are hitting every jumper they take, even when there's a hand in their face, is it the defense's fault?

There were a few breakdowns defensively in the third, but primarily, it was the offense's fault.

The Celtics have issues. Anyone can see that. You do not blow double digit leads game after game without issues.

But just because we can see those issues does not mean we like them, want them, "revel in them" or any other nonsense. Maybe some do, I don't know. I don't. I love the Celtics and I hate bad basketball.

Having said that, this game is NOT over yet. Will the Celtics win? Unlikely. Will they try is more important to me right now. A team with this much talent should be able to make a serious run at a comeback.
