  • So what if we don't win 73 - the ring's the thing
This is an old, tired, dispirited team. No energy, no intensity, no heart, no character. Anyone who thinks they will win a title this season, or even get out of the first round of the playoffs, is just flat out kidding themselves.

after today they wil be 0-4 against the Hawks and 1-3 against Orlando. This is definitely a championship caliber team. They just need time to get their chemistry back.  :o

We didn't hear you in the first half and yet you're here when the team is sinking, funny.

how the hell an 11-point lead turns into a 14-point decifit. this is just pathetic

I liked the Celtics chances of getting back into this in the fourth if they were down 7-9 points. It would have been very tough for Orlando to maintain that play throughout the whole second half.

But 14 points will be very difficult ... need a good 6-0 or 8-2 run early in the fourth to pare down that lead. Give them something manageable over the final 6-8 minutes.

0-1 against the Lakers too.

2-6 against the teams they will have to beat in order to get out of the East.

Hello, second round exit!

God, I really hope they give me a reason for hope again in the 4th quarter.

Well, I'm glad the Celtics' play that quarter made at least a few people happy, as they wear themselves out patting themselves on the back, saying what a terrible team we have.

roy -- sorry, but this team is not championship caliber. Are you happy with the way they are playing?

If they can just return to what they did in the second quarter they might still have a shot...

no chance, none....zero. another big lead blown to good teams. they did it to the magic twice now....the lakers last week...they continue to embarrass themselves on national TV....and they struggle to beat crappy teams like the wiz and nets...pathetic

Noted, Roy, but ...

This team's lack of athleticism is a fatal flaw, IMHO. And it was readily apparent in the third period.

I just realized the positive spin for that 3rd quarter!  Eureka!

What is the positive spin?

At least we don't have to watch the Celtics choke away a lead heading into the 4th quarter.
