For the record I do not believe we will trade Ray Allen, but I guess I don't see a reason to not add my own fantasy Ray Allen trade to the mix as well. I would likely do this trade if the Celtics could afford it and it was an option.

Boston gets:

Luol Deng(Chi), Kevin Martin(Sac), and Andres Nocioni(Sac)

Chicago gets:

Ray Allen(Bos), Tony Allen(Bos), Sergio Rodriguez(Sac), and Jr Giddens(Bos)

Sacramento gets:

Kirk Hinrich(Chi), Tyrus Thomas(Chi), Brian Scalabrine (Bos)

Boston would be receiving 27.5 mill and shipping out 25.6 mill so they are going to have pay a few more mill after the luxury tax increase.

Chicago would be receiving 23.9 mill and shipping out 24.5 mill so they are getting nothing but expiring contracts and saving a little money at the same time.

Sacramento receives 17.7 mill and ships out 18.6 mill so they also save a little money this year.

Why for Boston?

They get younger, more talented, deeper, and more athletic. Deng Martin and Pierce could be interchangeable. Daniels House and Rondo as well. Then you have Nocioni as a posey type 3/4 tweener. Baby Sheed KG and Perk provide a deep big man rotation. We are probably the favorites this year and next year if not for the next two years. A core of Perk Deng Rondo and Martin would be legit for the next 8-10 years.

Why for Chicago?

First you assume no one wants to take Hinrich for just expirings including us - which kind of kills the deal right there. Anyways no one wants Hinrich for just expirings. They reduce payroll, add Ray Allen next year for a fair price with Bird Rights, and open up a ton of payroll for next season. If they got Bosh/Amare they could have Rose, Ray, Salmons(if they cant move him), Bosh/Amare, and Noah. I do not think Wade or Johnson leave Miami or Atlanta and they need a big man more anyways. They acquire Ta and Giddens as fillers but Ta could possibly crack this year's rotation. They also acquire Sergio to provide some more pg depth for the rest of the year.

Why for Sacramento?

They reduce payroll. They trade Nocioni for a younger more athletic 3/4 tweener in Tyrus - who syill has upside. They finally get rid of Nocioni! They lose Martin but they acquire a better defensive player who is more fit to play along side Evans. Also Hinrich's contract reduces salary annually. Hinrich and Evans are interchangeable at the 1 and 2 which is ideal for Sacramento's lineup. They get rid of Sergio to lessen payroll and with Hinrich, Evans, and Udrih on the team he is not really needed. They get Scal as a filler too.

I know this trade is farfetched but in some instances it makes sense, especially if some draft picks were added here and there to motivate participating teams to do it. If I was DA I would do it assuming it was available; however, for the record I dont believe it would be available.

That is my Ray Allen fantasy trade.

Interesting trade idea.  As much as I like Ray, I am afraid he will not return to the Ray Allen of old.  It would make sense for the Celtics to do this one.

I wonder how Pierce would like having to face Deng in practice every day?!!
