First I would like to say that I am a Ray Allen fan. I would also like to say that I am a bigger Celtics fan. IFFFF the right trade comes along I think we should go for it because we don't want waste the opportunity of enhancing our future while keeping the team intact.

Now that I got that out of the way, here is my trade idea

BOS sends: Ray Allen/Tony Allen/JR Giddens

UTAH sends: Ronnie Brewer/Andrei Kirilenko/Kyle Korver

Why we do it: It is known that Danny is looking for a younger, cheaper SG to replace Ray. Ronnie Brewer, I think would fit perfectly in the starting rotation. He is an athletic, defensive stopper who does all the right things and can hit the open jumper. AK47 and Kyle Korver (who is an expiring) give us the great bench support we sorely need.

Why Utah does it: They get an admittedly aging SG who still is a great shooter and cold-blooded in the clutch. Ray, I think, would thrive in their system plus he seems like the type of player Jerry Sloan would love to coach (who doesn't love Ray???). Also he is an expiring and combined with Boozer they potentially have a lot of money to play with in the off-season. With TA they get an athletic defensive stopper for their bench who brings tons of energy. And finally JR to make the salaries match and also I am just utterly embarrassed that he has a roster spot on this team.

Thoughts?

PS: BBD could be substituted for TA (both work on trade checker). I say this because BBD seems more of a Sloan type of player than TA.

Being a Kirilenko fan, I love anything that brings him to Boston. I'm guessing Korver and Brewer are the reward for taking on Kirilenko's ginormous salary in 2010-2011 season. Its an all or nothing type of trade. I like it.
