Pierce loves playing NJ, too. Too bad. I'll take the rest.

And THAT is why Sheed should stay in tonight.

Nice offense there standing around until the clock winds down and the C's turn it over.  One of the worst regular season losses in Celtic HISTORY is one quarter away here.  Someone has to step up and lead this team before it's too late.

No one can come up with any excuses for this effort.  Can't use fatigue, injuries, refs or whatever else people talk about.

These are the 4-44 NETS guys...

The C's have come out so fired up and determined to overtake the Nets after a horrid first half that they managed to erase a whopping 3 points off the Nets halftime lead way to go...

Hard to fathom but the Celtics now need a great 4th quarter to fight off the NJ Nets and avoid a disgraceful and embarrassing home loss.

Roy,

95th in the league in Efficiency Rating does not scream to me "above average!!"  (Speaking of Ray!)

Smitty77

Efficiency rating is a flawed stat.  By the way, among guys who rank behind Ray in this stat:  Jason Richardson, Hedo Turkuglu, Rashard Lewis, Eric Gordon, Trevor Ariza, Jason Terry, Andre Miller, Vince Carter, and many, many others.

Also, of course, Kobe Bryant ranks 15th.  That's reason enough not to judge a player's worth by Efficiency.

Well... let's hope we have a 4th quarter run left or this could be a very embarrassing loss.

Win the quarter, or be absolute laughing stocks of the league.

Hopefully, Doc will let Billy get a few minutes at the beginning of the 4th.

  • Rondo = Good
Danny's trade finger is gonna get awfully itchy if we lose tonight.

Nope. Nothing good at all.

OK, Rondo and Ray are doing fine.

Not much which is why there aren't even any of the faithful always positive guys around tonight.  Everyone realizes that these are the NJ Nets beating the Celtics in Boston.  Not even a glimmer of hope to drain from this performance...
