Hopefully Ray Allen can wake up from his mid season menopause and breathe a little life into the C's in the 2nd half.

I don't think Ray is the problem in this game.

I think Perk's just hurting us all over the place. He's not finishing at the rim and yet he can't make free throws when he's fouled. He's slow to inbound the ball. He's slow to pass the ball out when he gets a rebound like he can't decide who to pass to. He has no clue how to get the ball out of a double team. He doesn't even try to catch Rondo's passes. He's slow to rotate, he's not helping the guards when they get picked off. He's not communicating out there. Everyone else is just not playing very hard, but Perk's mind seems like it's just on another planet. Hopefully things will turn around for Perk.

Oh wow...I come home from work and see the Celtics are losing to the *NETS* at halftime? **** happened?

The Celtics have allowed the Nets to shoot almost 65% for the first half.  They have let possibly the worst team in NBA history come to Boston and take a halftime lead.  One of the worst halves in recent Celtic history without question.

The good news is there is plenty of time for the C's to wake up and take control of this game.

The bad news is that the Celtics can't even find the energy and will to dominate the Nets at home anymore...

Yeah, good teams would never fail to dominate the Nets, especially for a half.

For instance, the last Nets/Cavs game, when the Cavs held a one point halftime lead.  Or the recent game versus the Spurs, when SA was up by two at halftime at home.

Championship caliber teams that have been struggling at home all year wouldn't allow a .500 Heat team to shoot a season high in FG% then have a day off to regroup and allow the Nets to come to Boston and do the exact same thing either...

Well, I guess time will tell.  I'm not ready to make definitive statements about what a championship contender would or wouldn't do.

He's played ok. I want him, if only for one night, to carry this team past one of the worst teams in league history. He's getting paid superstar money, it's time to play like one.

There's no doubt he's massively overpaid (as are KG and Pierce, relative to their production).  However, he's still an above-average SG.

Ugh CSN is horrible this game. They've missed like three Rondo plays to the basket and have refused to replay them..

Shelve the alleyoop for a few more weeks. It's not time yet.

Let's see some inspired defense early in this 3rd quarter.  There needs to be a concerted effort to dominate and put these Nets away.

Ray started well but is now 3 for 10 just can't seem to stay hot for more than one game.

STOP the alley oop to KG please --- it has not worked once since he came back.  He can't finish at the basket and just risks hurting himself on those plays...

Well at least the effort is there on defense right now.  The Nets aren't getting easy shots to start this 3rd quarter.

The offense has gone stagnant early in the quarter but with this team it seems to be offense or defense working instead of both at the same time...
