JA Adande links Ray and Kevin Martin rumors?

Let's be careful here, KMart is Kenyon Martin's nickname (a Denver player), Kevin Martin is a different player.  Adande linked Ray with the Sacramento Kings player Kevin Martin.

I know who Kevin Martin is, and plenty of people call him K-Mart too.

I'm fully aware of who Kenyon Martin is, also.

If Ray went to the Kings who do you think he would finish the season with? If we trade him to a team this bad we know he isn't staying on that team. Sacto wouldn't mind buying him out to save some money. I think rondohondo's idea of having to take on Nocioni give and give up big baby seems fair.

For many of us who watched the Celtics in the 80's we hope that
mgmt has learned from 1987 when the Big 3 started to get plagued with injuries, but held onto them until they were unable to play effectively anymore.

Our team is getting plagued by injuries and the window of opportunity is closing quickly unless we deal some of the high value chips we have for short and long-term solutions to the team.

I know Danny has to be considering this thought process; he was with the team during the 80's era when we watched him play.

The best part of any Ray Allen trade to the Kings is that they would almost certainly want to buy him out.  Then, after 30 days, we could bring him back.  There's no way the Kings would be interested in keeping Ray.

You gotta think that during Ray's sitdown with Ainge on Tuesday the 'possibility' of a 'buyout' must have been 'hinted' at...

I'm sure of it.  I think the whole "30 day waiting period" was created in part because of Ainge dealing Gary Payton then signing him back within a week.
