Ray Allen

to the Washington Bullets for

Butler and Miller

These two could instantly be thrown into the starting five while Paul Pierce re-cooperates. Butler is a poor man's Pierce while Miller is a poor man's Ray Allen (but might be on his level at this point... clutchness and experience aside of course). Caron has a short term manageable contract while Miller expires at the end of the season.

This might entice Washington because Ray is a strong character guy and has an expiring contract.

Thoughts?

Made this exact trade idea a day or so ago. It had mixed reactions, but the was pre-Pierce injury. Now would be a great time to try this trade(I mean the Wiz organization is looking to move salary anyways since their "Big 3" didn't pan out so well. Best option for them is void Gil's contract, make this trade for us, and trade Jamison to the Cavs, by the way isn't as scary as some thought b/c KG can shut Jamison down and Shaq fills up the post where Jamison makes all his insane awkward flip shot finger rolls)
Anyways, hell yea to this trade. And if Washington wanted to help us out by buying him out, so be it. Ray would be a much better 6th man than starting SG.
Can't stop, Rondo!

If that's the case then TP for beating me to the punch.
