I'd also like to register my supreme and utter disappointment not only with this topic, but with some of the responses.

I can respect the fact that people are freaking out at the thought of another 20 year championship drought, but, really?  you wanna trade KG?

to say that KG is the heart and soul of the franchise is an understatement.  you can't put into words what this guy brings to a basketball court, even when he's not healthy.  there is no player in the league, past or present, that i would rather go to war with than KG.  and by go to war, I mean have on my favorite basketball team while I sit on my couch and watch him play.

seriously, stop freaking out people.  we sucked for so many years because we drafted poorly and made bone-headed trades.  we won't be that bad for that long again.

You can't blame people for going into panic mode at the thought of it, though.

Fact is most franchises have to get lucky drafting a superstar to stay in contention and once that star (or group of stars) fades into old age, they have to go through a painful rebuilding process of mediocrity for a while.

Unless you're the Celtics during the 50's through the late 80's...but I don't think that kind of domination and decade-after-decade success is possible anymore, even with the best management / drafting.

Wow, this topic can't seem to leave the top forum topics even through PP isn't done for the year.

Time to let it go.

PP is not out for the year! its a strain and hes day-to-day! so stop panicing and there is really no point for this thread!

As i said the C's need a 6th man type of scorer/handler unless something really good is on the table for Ray Allen! but KG, PP are untouchables! PP is a celtic legend and KG is what gets this team going!

Not to be Mr. Doom and gloom but given what happened last year with KG we really can't be sure of anything about Paul's health until we see him playing on the floor looking healthy.
