Is there any possibility we can move some players in a 3 way deal to get something from the Blazers? they need a big guy and we have Big Baby! we need athletic wing players/shooters and they have just that!

I think the C's can still compete with a 6th man type of player from the bench! Bayless or Fernandez would seal the deal if you ask me but is there a possibility? i was thinking about it and do they really wanna keep Webster, Batum, Outlaw, Fernandez, Bayless and be able to give those guys enough minutes? they can move at least one of them and get a big guy like Big Baby back!

I would love to have Rudy.  ID even consider moving ray in a package centered around Rudy

The Blazers are willing to move Blake and Outlaw, especially if they can get a big man in return.

No need to say that both Blake and Outlaw would be perfect fits for our team... but Big Baby alone won't get this deal done.

Is Rudy Fernandez better than Ray Allen already?

I'm thinking Rudy is better than Ray -- better defense, better rebounding, better passing, better ballhandling, better off the ball, comparable shooting ability, better in transition. More athletic.

Yep.  Longer, more energetic.  I wouldn't quite agree with the shooting part quite yet.  We definitely need another guy with a motor, and Rudy has one.  I've been surprised that the Blazers havn't made him more of a focal point, because he looks excellent every time I see him.

Yeah, Rudy has been unlucky getting stuck behind Brandon Roy.

It'd be great to see Portland use Roy at the point guard position and go big across the perimeter. Allow them to give their wings more minutes. Roy + Rudy + Martell/Batum. Then use Blake or Miller as the backup guard and Batum/Martell as the backup wing. A tight five man perimeter rotation with a lot of interchangeable pieces.

I thought it was the craziest thing when Portland was going after Hedo, when they had Fernandez.  I predicted a borline allstar in Rudy, not a 20 minute bench player.

I don't watch the Blazers that much admittedly, but almost every time I see Fernandez play, he sucks.

Yeah, I don't know what is wrong with him.  He has tremendous skills, but for some reason, he has not been able to put it together.  I want to blame the lack of consistent minutes, as well as the system, but he should have been stepping up.  I would still take a flyer on him in a second, but he would no longer be a blue chip pickup.

I don't see them unloading Rudy for any of our bench guys, and it'd be too much to match up salaries for Ray. I don't see it happening.

I came up with this: http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ygsojcd

But unless Portland is just DYING to get another big man they don't do this...especially since they lower their expiring value.
