If we are trading Ray for Mike Miller I'd like to see some youth like Blatche, Foye or Nick Young coming our way, or a big like Haywood coming back. Since the Wizards would be crazy to do that. I think it's unlikely we see that trade.

I think in the end Ray stays because of the lack of quality offers for him. I also predict from now until the trading deadline he goes on a tear to convince danny to keep him in Boston.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Haywood would help.  They can keep those other guys.  Sebastian Telfair seems to finish at the rim as well as Blatche.

maybe something like ray, giddens and williams for foye, miller, blache and james?

Problem is, washington's end needs to have salary relief. i think those guys are all on favorable contracts or expirings.

But a Ray for Miller/Butler/Blatche would be a dream scenario.

If Mike Miller can stay healthy, he would be perfect.  He can slide right into Ray's role, but he adds some rebounding, and younger legs.

The deal that I think is perfect (and realistic) would be a three-way deal with Ray going to Washington along with Al Thornton, Butler going to LA, and Miller and Camby going to Boston.

If that trade happened, Dave Berri at Wages of Wins would pre-emptively award us the championship.  His stat worships those two.

I don't see why a 3rd team is more realistic though (though Camby's rebounding is desperately needed on this team).  I think Boston could trade directly with Washington, offering Ray and a pick for Butler and Miller.  A wing rotation of Pierce/Miller/Butler would probably be of more utility than a 4 man big rotation of KG/Perk/Wallace/Camby when likely minutes are taken into account, especially if Miller could see time as a point forward.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler
