Bos sends : Ray + 2010 1st rd pick(likely 25 or lower)
Chi sends: Heinrich + Salmons

For Boston: They get 2 players who are about to be in the prime of their careers. Salmons was struggling earlier this year ,but has played better the last few weeks and is only signed for 1 more year at 6 mil. I think he could easily give the C's 13-15 ppg as the starting Sg. He played well in the playoffs last year too.

Heinrich would give us an offensive and defensive spark off the bench.  We badly need a leader for the 2nd unit.

For Chi: They get cap space they are looking for. With Rays contract expiring they would have enough cap space to sign 2 max level free agents.

Would I?  Yes.  Would Danny?  Probably not...although maybe if we could get someone like Tyrus Thomas as well.

If we're trading Ray, I'd like to get something a little better.  maybe a few more parts to also get Ty Thomas.

This.  If this is the best we can do...maybe.

Nope.  I'd much prefer to keep Ray, and figure out some other way to get Hinrich.

Agreed.  And i'd hardly say that both Heinrich and Salmons are in their prime.

Not enough; Salmons is a poor shooter from the field, Heinrich doesn't balance it out.  Now switch in Tyrus Thomas and now we may have something.

Both are a step down from Ray, and neither are young enough to make it worthwhile.

The only reason to bring Tyrus Thomas to Boston would be to improve Glen Davis's year.

Yeah that's all Uno Uno needs is another friend that he can get into a fight with.

It's already my pet peeve when people spell Hinrich's name wrong, and the Hinrich threads would probably increase exponentially if he were to come here, so I'd have to say no.

No way ... it would take a deal of HUGE import for me to let Ray go ... this guy is one of the greatest shooters, most team-oriented players, highest BBIQ athletes, and nicest guys, to ever grace the NBA ... you don't take someone like Ray for granted, in any way.

Fantastic. Kurck Hinerick would be such a fan favorite though.
