Just out of curiosity, who else has a dog left in the fight?  I see celticinorlando's an Ohio St guy - anyone else?

I've got the `Cuse going all the way.  I also have the 2nd ,ost potential point left in the CB pool (behind my father - he has Ohio St.)

Yup

Unlikely. Completely different teams, completely different styles of play. That Ohio St. team was 10 times better than the current one. Evan Turner is the only reason this team is worth mentioning, though a pretty [dang] good reason. It will be a very good game. My guess is it's decided by fewer than 5 points either way.

I have an amazing dog left in the fight. I still am in shock from Saturdays upset. I honestly think we can beat Michigan State, and then who knows what will happen vs. OSU or Tennessee.

Big TP for that - that game was fun enough to watch as it was, I can't imagine how an alum (current student?) must feel.

And with Lucas out for Mich St they could very well get at least one more W out of this.  Best of luck!*

*unless you play Cuse in the Final Four, in which case I think the ride's gone far enough  ;)

I am a Sophomore here at UNI. It was such a big win for the program and even the conference. Everyone has been tagging us as overrated all year, and I honestly believed we could beat Kansas. I am very excited for Friday night vs. Mich. State because I believe we can control the tempo and beat Sparty. Unfortunately, I think the road ends after that for the Panthers. If we run into a very athletic team (like Syracuse or OSU even) we will struggle mightily. It may be possible, but I will not be optimistic.

Anyways, it was a HUGE party in Cedar Falls on Saturday night, and thanks for all the love!

I know its flying under the radar because its Division II hoops but the Bentley Falcons (aka Dons' grad school alma mater) won in the Elite 8 last night and has moved on to the semi-finals in the Division II NCAA Mens's Basketball tournament.  They go right back at it tonight against Cal Poly Pomona.   Wishing them the best of luck.

Ok, I'm officially getting excited for the games.  No Onuaku but hopefully that won't matter against a Butler team without a whole lot of inside presence.  Fear the Orange!
