  • Let's Go Celtics!
Great play, again. Players just have to execute.

Exactly.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
I tell you what - I think the Celtics played fantastic tonight.  Fantastic basketball. They earned a win tonight and we should all feel a lot better about t his team.  Nobody can tell me different.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

I know it was a tough loss, but you guys all know the rules:  no profanity, masked or otherwise.  I just deleted a half-dozen posts.

For the love of God, why do you shoot a three? Attack the basket!!! You are down one, drive the lane look to get fouled.

We blow down the stretch recently. I pretty much expect a Pierce TO at the end. I was waiting for it and sure enough, the offensive foul. Oh well.

At least the refs tried to help us with that blown out of bounds call.

Sigh.

This game was lost taking possessions off offensively - nothing from Rondo except pounding the basketball, no motion away from the ball, no ball movement whatsoever.

The ball did slow down, but that's how the C's play in the 4th. Ray and Pierce do the exact same thing.

Clutch whistles give LA the win.

Paul reached out, and swept Artest off him with his left arm.  You've got to call that if you're the refs, and they called a much lesser example on Kobe earlier in the game.

It was a good call, unfortunately.

Uh, that's what they did. They drove to the hoop, but the defense was there so they kicked the ball out.

You can't drive to the hoop if there are defenders blocking you. That is called a charge.
