we gotta limit the laker damage inside with bynum and gasol...i would rather have kobe going hero with a bum ankle and finger...or artest trying to take over than to get beat down inside

[dang] we got away with murder in the 2nd quarter

Huh? Explain please.

Nah---only bad call was that offensive foul on Kobe...that ball they said went off PP was off Kobe...BUT, I'm SURE Salvatore will make some incredibly IDIOTIC Call in the 2nd half.

they barely called us for any fouls. we were allowed to hack them in the paint on several occasions. you know pau and bynum aren't just missing layup after layup. lol all good by me.

That's what Kobe did in the second quarter. Let's hope he keeps hogging the ball and not making passes to Gasol and Bynum when they are looking unstoppable.

Also, our bench did lift us in the 2nd, amazing, uh?

Let's hope TA plays as well in the 2nd as he did in the first. And let's hope that Ray gets it going.

Phil Jackson is quite the diplomat, he can't choose between Jordan or Kobe to take the last shot? Please. Jordan by a landslide.

WHAT?? PP missed almost the entire first half with 2 cheap ones....Perk the same..which allowed bynum to have a big first quarter...PP was HAMMERED on the way to the hope and they said he lost it out of bounds

I really hope Kobe decides to try and play hero this 2nd half.

That happens, we'll win.

Ray and Sheed must contribute. And Perk and KG must continue to put the brakes on Pau and Andrew.

Sheed is a better player than he's getting credit for here.  He can/should make a difference in these types of games.  I expect to see it in the 2nd half.

I sure hope he does. I just have very little confidence in him after what I have seen so far this season. His feet just do not go side to side. He is solid when they go directly at him, but if the guys moves at all, Sheed is cooked. And his shots are mostly of the "no, no, no, no" variety.

I hope we sparkle in the 2nd half.

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.
