  • Let them hate, as long as they fear
J804, why do you think that could happen? Its only January.
And someday in the midst of time,
When they ask you if you knew me
Remember that you were a friend of mine

I honestly dont care about this game tomorrow against the Lakers.

I was more focused and concerned about the last 2 games.
I am surprised people are putting more focus on this game Sunday, rather than paying attention to the last two games.

I dont care if we obliterate LA on Sunday, because if we cant obliterate the Atlanta's and Orlando's, then we have no right to look ahead at comparing ourselves to the Lakers right now.

I dont care if we win or not. the fact that we didn't beat atlanta nor orlando, is what matters more.
we have to get thru them first before we get to the Lakers.

Your a celtic fan and dont care about the Laker game tomorrow? Wow so since we lost two games in a row beating the team with the best record in the NBA doesnt matter? Whats the saying about having cake and eating it too?? We still have the fourth best record in the NBA which pretty much means if we beat the lakers it gives us even more reason to talk about being a contender

I'm such a Celtics fan I don't even watch the games.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Yes I'm a celtic fan and dont care about the game tmrw. I care about how WE play, and not about who we play. I am a celtics fan, not a Celtics-season-schedule fan!

Yes, I agree it will give us more reason to talk about being a contender. But in order to be a title contender, We have to beat the teams who are in OUR CONFERENCE first!

Whats the point of saying, "yeah, we can beat the Lakers";When we can't say the same thing about the Atlanta Hawks?? (or the Magic)

Last time I checked, we have to go through them first.

Had we beaten Orlando and Atlanta, then this game Sunday would actually mean something. And could be used as a "statement" game, but we can't even use this game as a statement game, or a game measuring where we are at, because we lost to ATL and Orl.

Two teams we will see in the post season, in the Eastern Conference

a major up tick in blog posts especially trade proposals.
if we bow out early this year and blow it up in the off-season i predict a return to the days when the blog was a friendly place for fans of a hopeless team to commiserate.

fortunately for the c's we'll be in the mix all the way to end this year. unfortunately for the culture of this blog we will be in the mix all the way to the end.

Has everyone here forgotten that we beat the Cavaliers on the first game of the season? After that loss the Cavaliers struggled through the first few weeks of the season.

This is the team that last year threatened to tie the Celtics' record for home-wins in a season (40-2 at home) and should have won it all considering how much of an advantage they had for sealing home-court advantage through the playoffs. Since then the Cavs have beaten the Lakers twice, meanwhile both Pierce and Kevin Garnett have had injuries (and plenty of trade rumors concerning Ray Allen).

calm down, guys win or lose tomorrow it isn't the end of the world, though we'll obviously be doing everything in our power to win...and I mean everything.  >:(

If we lose tomorrow and all the 'fans' here start bashing all the players and the coach, like they have been personally ripped off, like it's been here lately, I don't think my stomach will be able to handle it anymore.
Win or Lose, watching our team is pure pleasure of the highest degree.

We should be prepared for the continued media and fan bashing that we always get. I say, let them bash away..fill our locker room with all the things this aging, star filled team cant do come post season. Nothing wrong with having a second coach inside our players heads and putting an added  cant do chip into their fuel tanks. We could use a little more ethanol anyways. Bash away media, trolls and fans.

We suck and still are the 3rd seed and still could beat any team on any given day..god things have never been worse for us!
