Can't wait to see the positive comments after this latest Celtic COLLAPSE where are they.

Let's see what the Celtics did tonight ---

Blow a big lead in the 4th quarter AGAIN --- CHECK
Get killed on the boards --- CHECK
Get a 3 point lead with under a minute left and still manage to lose the game --- CHECK
Fail miserably on both ends of the floor down the stretch --- CHECK

Pitiful collapse tonight and there is absolutely no excuse for it.  A veteran team simply has to execute down the stretch of games and this team has failed consistently to do so.

Doc refuses to foul when up 3 and it cost the C's against the Clippers and once again tonight.

A complete and utter collapse once again by the Celtics.  If this game in which the C's dominated doesn't show how far they have fallen then nothing else will.

PITIFUL...

Not the intention at all ---- every single thing I posted there was a fact how does that upset anyone except those who believe this team has what it takes to win a championship.  To paraphrase Rasheed --- "The facts don't lie"
I've said it before and I'll say it again, you're relentlessly negative no matter how the Celtics play game in and game out. Its one thing to be critical, its another to literally suck the air out of the thread.

If it weren't for the fact you're not asleep every second half I'd think you were my Dad...

Outplay the Magic all game---but 40 Free throws to 18...I dunno, kept them hanging around to steal it...also 47 rebounds to our 32....it was OBVIOUS which team was better for like 45 minutes.

that is the frustrating part....own the game...still lose...and the double up'd free throws didnt help at all

.cant put teams away....no killer mentallity...we all need to face the fact that KG will never be close to 100 percent again...

If this is the case, shouldn't Danny make a trade?

Turnovers in the first half, rebounds in the second half and of course defense in the final minutes >:(

Why Perkins wasn't there at the end at least when defending?

Would've been a 1 point game---but that WEAK T on Rasheed's "and one" yell hurt a bit....he WAS fouled--instead, THEY got a free throw....so, yeah 2 points there!!

Danny has to do something, he can't stand pat with this group.

We need young athleticism off the bench and a point guard.

Its so obvious.  I still shake my head at the fact that we are the only team in the NBA who has only 1 natural point guard on their roster.

Ray Allen and Paul Pierce each played over 40 minutes tonight.......again!

There is no reason why they should be playing over 40 mintes in January! This is ridiculous, and I have been saying this for the longest.

Danny needs to completely retool the bench. As far as I'm concerned their are only 6 untouchable guys on this roster right now, our starting 5 and Sheed. Everyone else is on the block!!!!

If the C's win tomorrow I won't even think twice about tonight. I think the best we can hope for at this point is a close win because the C's just don't handle teams anymore.

Well if the constant updating of FACTS upsets you that much I am sorry.  Not sure about being your dad that is scary but am glad to have given you such wisdom as a parental figure would.

Sucks that we had those two Eddie threes taken away from us...but on to Atlanta. This was a tough loss, but I still have faith in this team to pull out some wins against tough opponents. I have to believe.  :P

no real excuses...up 14 points to start the 4th quarter should be plenty. but this team has an issue of blowing big to decent leads with or without KG...i just dont see any improvement on the flaws from game to game like rebounding, FTs and shot selection. no excuse to give this game away to a magic team that didnt even want to compete....and it was not even the stars that did it...jason williams? gortat? just sad

Abrasive, aggressive, and relentlessly negative statements may be true, but that doesn't mean they are necessary.

You literally never say anything positive, even when the C's make a good play. Your facts are one sided and your act is tiresome.

Now, regarding the game itself:

- To me this is once again squarely on Doc's shoulders. This team is good enough to win a championship, and the good quarters prove it. But the fact is that once the other team makes a minor adjustment to the way they play, Doc simply can't respond within the same game. We are abusing the hawks, but they take Bibby out and put Horford in and Doc doesn't adjust. We are abusing the Magic, but they put Gortat and Howard in and Doc simply can't adjust. That, for me, is the most disappointing thing.

- Refs were awful tonight. To me it was clear that they didn't want Howard to sit anymore. He got away with so many pushes and reach ins in the second half that its ridiculous.

My take on the game is that the refs wanted to keep the game close so viewers don't drop off. They always do this for national tv games. Then the Magic got hot in the 4th and we lost. Sucks. We played great though.
