With the 22nd Pick in the 2010 Celticsblog Mock Draft, the Dallas Vindicators select:

Michael Redd, out Milwaukee..more to follow.

He wasn't taken was he?

Nope, still available. I'm sure it's because of the knee.

Great..with Michael, we add much needed scoring punch..he can play some SF..he's a solid defender. Great Character Guy and locker room presence. Adds more veteran leadership to team and will be a Co-Captain along with Kidd and Dirk.

His knee was a concern, but he has since been given a clean bill of health by a team of Dallas Specialists..the same team of specialists that worked wonders on Shaq in Phoenix (Mark hired them away from Phoenix, by the way).

We are very happy to have Michael and look forward to his resurgence in the NBA on our Championship Contending Team!

(I know---imagination running a little on overdrive, but this is still fun. Michael still has a lot of game left I believe and I've always liked his character.)

Well, Edgar and I were able to convince enough voters that Redd was going to be 1) healthy and 2) an average defender to win the CB draft.  I wish you equal luck in both regards. ;)

In terms of character, though, there are few better.

Mark Cuban begrudgingly says thanks for your help ;D. IP's advice saved us some potential Headache.

The LA Porkers are willing to trade down from their prime 3rd round location for a 4th and late 5th/early 6th.

PM me.  (and don't wait.  The last two close deals fell through because time ran out.  One GM was able to find another trade, the other missed out)

People are handing out draft picks for advice?  I'm due about a dozen, then. ;)

Dead on assessment from where I sat Slugger.  Don't know why everyone's screaming it's lopsided.  I wasn't keen on the fouth round and am kicking myself for not going with a lower pick.  kudos for playing that one well.
If that's so, I have Turk and a 3rd to offer up for that same package.

How can you pass that up, Slam?
What, Turk and a 3rd for Granger and Hibbert?   I'll take that under advisement.

Tell you what.  I will even throw in a 5th rounder.
Keep throwing.

With the 20th pick of the 3rd round, the Utah Salties are bringing home the saltiest tongue in the league.  Rasheed Wallace.

If I held onto the 4th rounder, I could have let him go another round.  oh well.  at least he can back up both Boozer and Hibbert.

And just to stop the Granger insanity (since I didn't offer him up), he's not going anywhere unless someone's offering something overwhelming.

Fine.  Here is a 7th.

So, it Turk, 3rd, 5th, WW's 9th and some TPs for what you said wasn't that good.

It is a full Thanksgiving feast for you.

I'm still waiting for my piece after doing all the leg work for Edgar on a good deal.    ;)

Not bad considering my team was decimated by injuries and free agency and had horrible drafting position.

Generally, trades have required at least something going in the other direction, although TPs have counted.

Honestly, I don't really care one way or the other in this draft.  I guess you worry about people giving picks to their friends and damaging the integrity of the draft, but this was simply done out of good heartedness.

  • Rondo = Good
After much consideration, the Trailblazers select Luc Richard Mbah a Moute.  Just too good to pass up; we need a lock down wing defender, and he is one.  He doesn't provide as much scoring as we'd like, but he's only in his second year and we think he'll continue to develop in that area.
