Well, we have our PG and C studs, our young gun at SG, and our wing defender with length, athleticism, and range at SF.  Now we just need a young PF to bang down low, rebound, defend in the post, score a few points efficiently, and be our enforcer.  In other words, we need a guy to do the Perk work.

So, New Orleans is happy to select Dejuan Blair.  Maybe a little high, but we love his efficiency, hardnosed play, and ability to grow with the team. He'll be a good high-level role player for years to come.

Nope, still available. I'm sure it's because of the knee.

Hornets are interested in moving down in the 4th to acquire a 5th rd pick.  Deal would be a 4th and 6th/7th (which 4th and which other pick depends on the quality of your picks) for a lower 4th and a 5th.  PM for details.

I really like Michael Redd, when healthy.  Unfortunately, his healthy days may be behind him.

Great..with Michael, we add much needed scoring punch..he can play some SF..he's a solid defender. Great Character Guy and locker room presence. Adds more veteran leadership to team and will be a Co-Captain along with Kidd and Dirk.

His knee was a concern, but he has since been given a clean bill of health by a team of Dallas Specialists..the same team of specialists that worked wonders on Shaq in Phoenix (Mark hired them away from Phoenix, by the way).

We are very happy to have Michael and look forward to his resurgence in the NBA on our Championship Contending Team!

(I know---imagination running a little on overdrive, but this is still fun. Michael still has a lot of game left I believe and I've always liked his character.)
