I know Chandler is having a bad year but he was made to run in a Steve Nash offense. Him and Kirilenko will give me two bigs that can run and block shots.

While Vince is still an elite scorer. Playing with a dominate point guard like Nash will give limit Carter's stupid shots.

Carter was the guy I really wanted...but I talked myself out of it. I could already see the "Well what happened the last time Vince was on the Nets" comments.

[dang it]. And [dang it]. Too guys who are too talented to still be on the board this late.

Carter ($16.3m), Chandler ($11.8m), Nash ($13.1m), Ginobli ($10.7m), and Kirilenko ($16.5m): Hoooooo boy that's a pricy, injury prone, and old starting five.

So yeah, I'm conflicted with how I feel about it. Sheer talent is nice, though.

Good pick, although there is no love for Mo on this board, I think he's a solid PG, especially at this point in the draft.

I am going to take Ty Lawson for the Knicks

Wow. I did not expect him to go this early. I like him, was hoping to grab him in a later round.

Hinrich & Lawson back-to-back... where have I seen those names togehter before?!?

Oh yeah --- the 2009 Orlando Magics. We shoulda changed our slogan to Frank Drebin saying "Trust me I know what we're doing". (ECF semifinalists... c'mon... )

(that said I think Lawson went a bit early here, with the legit starting PGs still available; We got him in the 9th round in CBlog Draft 2009)

Good pick, although there is no love for Mo on this board, I think he's a solid PG, especially at this point in the draft.

He is just the guy we need to push the ball in our uptempo ....fastbreak......dribble drive offense!

Me too - on paper, this'll be one of if not the biggest improvements in starting 5 talent of any team.  But can this 5 win you a championship, or even get out of the East?  Maaaaaaybe, if they gel quickly, stay healthy, and some nice bench pieces are added.  But if not, this is a short-term boost that'll put the Wizards back to square 1 within 2-3 years.

I thought about him. I preferred Hinrich's toughness and defense over Mo's offense.

Great pick, I had him down as the BPA point guard. An All-Star last season who should have been drafted higher. And he is certainly able to play off the ball.

He is just the guy we need to push the ball in our uptempo ....fastbreak......dribble drive offense!

But then I wouldn't agree that he's going to thrive in the open court, running the break.
