Somehow I think Wallace has gotten lucky, considering this past offseason's moves.  Randolph has been awesome, I guess that's the lucky part.  He's always been super talented but he seemed destined to play on losing teams like the Clips and Knicks.  He flopped with Iverson and Hasheem Thabeet.  He's also somewhat lucky that Gasol decided to lose 30lbs.

Well, I think it's far too early to call Thabeet a flop - "NBA ready" has never been part of his description.  Iverson was a bad decision, but at least he was a low-risk bad decision.

I agree completely that getting Randolph to play good team ball was akin to catching lightning in a bottle... he used to be my least favorite player in the NBA, but I'm finding it hard to dislike what he's doing in Memphis.

Iverson was supposed to sell tickets.  That wasn't a basketball decision.

And he put butts in seats for two home games.  Regardless of the motive for the decision, it wasn't a very good one.

  • Rondo = Good
We won't be able to acquire Rudy Gay unless we trade Rondo and Ray for some combination of their players.  Not worth it.  Not at all.

I agree with you.. there's no way they will agree to give up their star player while in the playoff hunt. But with Gay being a FA next year i would really like to see him in a C's uniform. He's very athletic, has a developed shot, and can be a future leader of this team with rondo. I can see him running the 3 next yr and pierce at the 2.
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden
